First Grade Information
We are learning about numbers, colors, days of the week, weather, seasons, body parts, animals and many other exciting things in first grade Spanish class. Ask your first grader what they like; they will soon be able to answer in Spanish using the phrases “Me gusta _______.” Or “No me gusta ________.” Remember, the J in Spanish sounds like the H in English.
Please remember, this is continued exposure to the language for these children. Practice at home, but do not expect every child to be at the same level in the acquisition of this language.
